看您在哪个省份做的是几卷了,我们做的一般比较难,所以初中的话如果仅仅应付中考那你就掌握到高一的词汇就行了,有些太难的会给你提示；但是如果你比较有野心,或者想要考到前几名或者全市前几名甚至想为高中打下基础建议现去看英语四,六级词汇,如果有新概念这样经典教材可以把那里面的词汇全部背下来.然后就看看更难得,可以尝试背背雅思托福的词汇（如果英语程度好）,英语考不到前几名就不要看了!
高考的英语阅读并不像一般人想象那么简单,很有难度的,我说的难度是指再规定时间准确率很高才可 !所以要加大词汇量,我上高一,英语年纪前几名,但是和最强的还是差10几分,这样差距很大程度上是阅读量和词汇造成的.所以我现在准备背些更难得,开始背诵高三词汇和词典上的词汇.如果过一段时间觉得不忙了就挑战些难度的雅思吧,野心很大!呵呵,你可以看高中词汇了!个人觉得例句那些网络上都有,随便依照很多很多关键是要明确目标,这里我并不想给你复制一堆东西,还是要看你自己的取舍只是给您提供一些建议而已,毕竟目标明确了后面的路就得你自己选择才可以,这里给你留些好网站,上面的词汇要多难的都有,
自己去取舍好些吧

《新概念英语》，《走遍美国》，都非常不错，从第一本读起，背文中出现的不认识的单词，更背包含单词的句子，乃至整篇文章。
