这种表示方法常暗指在那一时刻或日期之前

先说一下中文“在.之前”,我们看下面的例子：
你三点之前必须到.
你明天之前必须到.
这两句,显然第一句肯定不能包括三点,虽然三点是一个“瞬时时间”,明天.不是瞬时,但也应该看作是一个“整体概念”.如果你明天才到,那还是“明天之前”吗?肯定不是.因此,中文的“之前”不能包含“明天”.
再看英文,by = not later than a particular time,这里包含了“particular time”,因为later than指这个particular time 之后的时间.不能在这个particular time之后交.
