During this integrated lab,the procedure was easy but we must to do each step very careful.First,we pull out all the materials in the lab table,and then follow the introduction.We filled a pneumatic trough with tap water and filled a 250 mL graduated cylinder to the top with tap water.We needed to place our hands over the top of the graduated cylinder and invert it carefully in the water bath.Make sure you do not introduce air bubbles into the cylinder,if you did,so you need to start it over.Then we weighted the butane lighter in the balance and recorded the accurate mass in the blue paper.Last,one person hold the cylinder in place,and the other hold the butane lighter,it just below of the graduated cylinder.The last and main part of this experiment,we must to fill out 250 mL of butane gas,the gas level should be the same as the water level in the bath.When we were done filling it,we needed to place our hand over the top again to invert it then put it in the place.Finally,we dried the butane lighter and weigh it again to see how much butane gas did we waste on this experiment and we measured the water temperature of the bath.Have all the accurate record written down on the paper,and then the lab is finished.
