应该是 as the dawing vividly portrays, [需要名词] seems humorous yet it is truly profond and requires much thought.
还有，we will find that the set of cartoon present[ed] ...
instead of saying "the former type", i would suggest using "the former has a ___ style" 但是原来的也很不错，并不是语法问题，就是听起来好一些
