My Hobby
Taking photos is one of my favourite hobbies. I really have a good time in it. It's my habit to bring a small but good camera with me wherever I go. Thus, I am able to catch a lot of interesting sights in life and I also have the stories and memories with the pictures I took. I tend to take pictures when I am at home, or travelling to work, or going out on a trip.
By doing this, I record numerous scenes of interesting or memorable moments with my family, friends or strangers. I have also recorded some splendid scenes of nature, such as the growth of flowers or trees in different seasons, the sea, the birds, or the mountains, and so on.
It's also interesting to look at the photos I have taken in the past and share them with others. Sometimes I feel grateful for lots of things in my life.
Look at this one. I remember that it was my birthday. Everyboday were having fun playing games and watching TV shows. Yet my parents were busy preparing for my favorite food in the kitchen. From the photo, I can only see the view of their backs. I see their grey hairs and I realize that they are not young any more. They have been working hard these years and taking good care of me. I feel grateful for having parents like them. Meanwhile, I also think about how to bring more fun for their life.
This is also a remarkable moment for me. It was taken on a trip to Guizhou. I saw two young kids. Maybe they are only three and five. They were helping their parents to carry the plants home. They had grown lots of corns in the field. They had a good harvest at that time. Yet life was tough for them. They could barely make ends meet. Compared with them, I am so lucky. When I see this picture, I think about I have, and feel that I should cherish them all.
Taking photos is a great hobby for me. It brings me lots of good memories and also help me in making more friends.
