Brave new world

Happiness has always been the ultimate pursuit of human beings. But we often see some sort of “being made happy” which is not,or is rather contrary to our actual concept of happiness, just like the status of “being made amusing” as described by Boltzmann. The happiness in the new world has become man-made research findings/results,while the personality independence, the freedom of will and the perception of good things of each individual has vanished completely.Being distorted is not only the concept of happiness,it
is also the new beings themselves whom are different from the free and normal beings as we defined, they have no spirit and soul.
I’m not a monk and I cannot understand their enjoyment of reciting/chanting the scriptures.I am not one of those being fed as a honey baby in the new world, thus I am not able to know if they are really happy.I agree with these words:“If you ponder all those political philosophical meanings in a real and rational way,it is not but a difference of favorite flavor on creamy or chocolate”.The Utopian ruling is rather,to certain groups of people,a simple happiness. But to others like the savage/wild John,a world without Shakespeare cannot be a real world; and a life without craziness, without in-person experience till being badly battered black and blue, can never be considered a real life. It’s just like a lily grown on a cliff looks into the distance at the roses in a glass greenhouse. Not all flowers like risk and excitement, and there is no need for the lily to despise the roses for their delicateness.
What I can do is exerting myself to be a man in active pursuit of happiness, and a man brave enough to love and to hate.I would rather,on seeing a little girl about to be crushed by a car,run to her and take her as close to my heart as possible, than just standing aside idly and looking at what is going to happen. If I had done so,you had done so,and everybody had done so,then the world in the future would be a brave new world in a real sense.
