虽然都已wait开头,但是两个词组有着不同的意思
第一个括号用for 第二个括号用on
wait upon [on] n. 服侍, 招待; 追随; 拜访; 随着而产生
如果表示“等某人（物）进行某动作”，wait后不能接宾语从句，而应用wait for sb．（sth．）to do结构。例如：
Are you waiting for me to give back the book？你在等我还书吗？ wait后接表示所等的人、物的名词或代词时，应与介词for连用。例...
