因为有主动语态的用法：
base one's hopes on … 把希望寄托在…上.（直译：把希望的基础放在...上）
反过来是
...is based on one's hopes....是以希望为动力的.（直译：以希望为基础的）

系表结构

应该是主系表结构，主系表结构有时候也有被动的意味的。
