觉得A和B都可以.如果一定要选一个,选B.因为return已经有返回的意思,就可以不用back.
B,return本身就有回来的意思。

我查了一下资料。词典上说return back的意思是reciprocate（回报；报答；酬答）。"Return back"用作此义时还可作名词使用,比如：1.When will we start seeing a return back on that money? 2. They were expecting a return back from it.（it指the directors' money that was being poured into a project.）
还查到，return back可以这样用：Return it back to me.（ 把它还给我。）
但是奇怪的是，我在语料库中搜到这样一个句子"They'll return back to their own world once they've had their fun."这样看来，作“返回；回到”解时亦可加back？（我也不知道）不过，这是一个极为特别的例子。所以，我认为作“返回；回到”解时，return之后最好别加back。（特别是考试中）
